CHOCOLATIER'S DESCRIPTION:
The "Tuscan Black" is a blend of different types of cacao beans, which come from plantations exclusively selected by Amedei. It is the chocolate with which Cecilia Tessieri, Amedei maitre chocolatier, expresses her philosophy of fondant chocolate. This is "real chocolate", the result of more than 300 years of experimentation, discussion, trends and customs from the days of the early colonies to the Age of Enlightenment, from France to Belgium, to Holland and to Italy. The chocolate is an attempt to enclose within one bar all the flavor that chocolate is capable of giving. It is the result of skill and knowledge beyond the plantation.
