OUR NOTES:
Al: Slow to taste. Charcoal, smokey scent, smooth, slight acidic taste. A hint of air conditioned grocery vegetable stand. Smooth melt. It would be interesting to compare to São Tomé. Long finish - 17 minutes.
Becky: Grocery vegetable stand? That's a new one! I didn't notice the smokiness. This chocolate is a little slow to get going on the palate. It is definitely more bitter and more acidic than some of the others, but not in a bad way. There is a certain fresh woodsiness - maybe that's the vegetable stand - and a definitely enjoyable dried red fruit taste -dried cherries maybe?
